It has been an interesting almost 24 hours!!! I called my Driver Manager (DM) and he told me I was going to pick up a load at midnight after I finished my 34 hour reset and I would have to run hard to get it to it's destination by 0500 this morning. So I went to bed yesterday afternoon so I would have plenty of rest before running thru the night. I woke up and went to the shipper only to find out that the load doesn't pickup until 1300 today for 0500 tomorrow! Called dispatch and no other loads available in this area. So back to bed I go for another 7 hours of sleep. If nothing else, I will be well rested!!!
